Walking down such "ladders" are always a bit scary to me, and this picture most certainly brings out that feeling. Very dark, and great depth in the picture.

That was Zen, but this is Tao.

Right now I'm having amnesia and deja vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before !

I do like your work very much, and wouldn't normally drop by a drop a clanger...

but for me, this is overworked. Not 'loose' like your work normally is, but tight and forced. There is no suprise or story left for me to discover or invent and then feel rewarded by getting.

For sure it is what it is... but the sharpness of detail, the vignetting and the ultra sharp symmetry just don't add up. It's flashy rather than reflective.

Make any sense? Probably not. My critical comments never go down well... so I'll balance this with positive ones.

Just that I think this one is kind of crude when the rest of your work is subtle.
